About Providus
We are former attorneys and paralegals with practice experience in big firms...just like you. We collectively have over 200 years of experience in legal staffing. The founders of Providus pioneered the concept of attorneys on a contract basis with their previous legal staffing company, Co-Counsel, in 1988. They grew that company to the largest legal staffing company in the country during the 1990's, before selling it to a Fortune 500 commercial staffing company. Seeing a need to provide legal niche staffing and customized services, our original founders and certain key staff members re-entered the legal staffing market in 2001, forming Providus, a boutique legal staffing company. Since 2001, Providus has received numerous awards as a fastest-growing Woman-Owned Business and was recently recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in the United States.
The contract legal staffing industry was formed by pioneering attorneys - including one of our founders - in the late 1980s. Today, analysts estimate that the legal staffing industry has grown to $1.7 billion and that usage will continue to grow annually at double digit rates until 2015. In this fast-paced environment, Providus has outperformed industry growth by using a consistent, proven staffing model and by offering customized staffing solutions.
Providus was very good at listening to our needs for candidates and listened to our instructions on what we expected in a candidate. We also provide customized, nationwide e-discovery solutions by securing dedicated space and computers on a project-by-project basis along with providing document review teams. Located in major markets throughout the country, including full staffed offices in Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.; with satellite offices in Dallas and New York, Providus is capable of providing staffing and document review services nationwide. With the globalization of business, we have become the leader in providing attorneys and paralegals with foreign language fluency, including Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, German and more.
What is the Outcome for our Clients?

I met with Providus to tour their document review center. I was introduced to staff members heading up project management, attorney review staffing, and security.
The walkthrough emphasized the security of their review space, which I found to be well suited and equipped for the intended purpose. Providus led discussions regarding project management, contract attorney staffing, review logistics, and other facility security information. They also provide placement services; Providus seems to have a very good database of well vetted professionals they can call on when assembling review teams for matters of varying complexities.
