Lisa Moore Turano is Chairman and General Counsel. In 1988, she founded Co-Counsel, the nation’s largest legal staffing company, serving as Chairman until 1999. Lisa graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and St. Mary’s School of Law and practiced commercial litigation for several years.

Joseph A. Turano, III is President. Joe is the former President & CEO of Co-Counsel, the nation’s largest legal staffing company, from 1991-99. Prior to joining Co-Counsel, Joe spent 13 years in the commercial real estate business.
Jackie L. Bebczuk is the Senior Vice President for National Client Development. She is responsible for client development and consulting with our largest clients in determining the best staffing solutions for their particular needs, including overseeing document review needs and projects for our Fortune 500 and Am Law 100 clients. Before opening the Houston office of Providus, Jackie was Director of Marketing at Co-Counsel for five years and prior to her career in legal placement, worked as an intellectual property paralegal. Jackie has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Paralegal Certificate.
Michelle Rosen is the Senior Vice President of Operations. Michelle has sixteen years of sales, recruiting and management experience in the staffing industry. Prior to joining Providus, Michelle worked for a privately held national staffing firm. Michelle focuses on placement, business and client development, project management and building relationships with business partners in law firms and corporate law departments. Michelle has a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications and Journalism from the University of Houston.
Beverly Kay Mattocks is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Operations at Providus and was the Accounting Manager and Compensation Director of Co-Counsel, the Nation\'s largest legal staffing firm from 1994 – 1999. Prior to joining Co-Counsel, Beverly owned The Business Center which provided accounting services to law firms in California for over 10 years.
Ashleigh Brown is a Director of Business Development and is responsible for marketing to law firms and corporate law departments. Ashleigh brings over 4 years of legal sales experience to Providus. Prior to joining Providus, Ashleigh was a Director of Business Development for a global translation company. Ashleigh obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the University of Houston.
Martin Mayne is the Project Manager and eDiscovery Consultant for the National Client Division of Providus. A trial lawyer since 1994, Martin has spent the last 8 years focusing on the discovery process in large and complex cases in both Am Law 100 firms and for Fortune 100 companies. Combining his experience in the courtroom with large scale project management, he has consulted on a number of complex and time-sensitive discovery projects. Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rice University and he received his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston.
Jill Brown is the Director of Brand Management & National Operations Support. She is responsible for recruiting, interviewing and placing candidates on a national level. Jill assists in the set up of document reviews, whether at a client site or at a Providus Document Review Center. Jill is also responsible for compliance and quality control reporting on a national level. She handles the marketing efforts for the company including events and conference coordination, brand management, lead generation, new office support and market research. Jill holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and prior to joining the Providus corporate office, she worked in candidate placement for the Houston branch office.
Regan Potter Bowen is a Director of Placement and is responsible for attorney placement in the Houston and Dallas offices. Prior to joining Providus, Regan was an associate at Sheehy, Serpe and Ware, P.C., where she represented physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice litigation. Regan holds a Bachelor of Science from University of the Ozarks and she received a Juris Doctor from University of Tulsa College of Law. Regan is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and is an active member of the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association.
Kush Bambrah is the Director of Placement for the Northeast Region. He is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and placing attorneys, as well as managing document review projects for Providus' Northeast Region. Prior to joining Providus, Kush was an account manager for Lexis Nexis Applied Discovery. Kush received a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College, a Master of Science from American University School of Public Affairs and a Juris Doctor from The American University, Washington College of Law.
Ricardo Mendez is the Assistant Director of Placement for the Chicago Office. Prior to joining Providus, Ricardo gained valuable experience working nearly five years as a legal assistant in the Public Finance department of the Chicago law firm of Chapman and Cutler. Ricardo obtained his Bachelor\'s degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Deborah W. Post is the Managing Director of the Western Region of Providus. Before joining Providus, Deborah was a securities lawyer at Boston-based Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault. In addition to practicing law, Deborah spent five years at a national legal staffing company as the Western Regional Director. Also, she was the Regional Director of LRN, The Legal Knowledge Company. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and her Bachelor of Arts from Clark University.
Cheryl I. Moore is a Director of Business Development and is responsible for marketing to law firms and corporate law departments. She worked for Lexis-Nexis for 14 years as a Western Region Sales Operations Manager and Regional Branch Manager. Cheryl has eleven years of experience in the legal staffing industry. She graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Educational Psychology.
Karyn Schlinkert is Director of Paralegal Placement responsible for placement to law firms and corporate law departments. She attended UCLA’s Attorney Assistant Training Program (AATP) in 1987. She then spent five years as a paralegal for a small law firm, Kumetz & Glick. After two-years at a legal placement firm, she joined UCLA’s AATP as the Placement and Internship Coordinator. Karyn has more than 10 years of experience in the legal staffing industry.
Lisa Laursen is Director of Attorney Placement and is responsible for attorney placement in the Los Angeles office and has over 8 years of experience in the legal staffing industry. She also practiced real estate, land use, corporate and tax law. Lisa graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law and received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Silvia joined Providus with over fifteen years of administrative experience in a variety of industries, including staffing and training. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Chapman College.
Summer Davis is the Assistant Director of Placement for the Houston Office and is responsible for candidate placement in law firms and corporate law departments. Prior to joining Providus, Summer worked in various fields including non-profit, legal and the staffing industry as an administrative assistant and meeting planner. Summer received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism-Public Relations from the University of North Texas.
Merredith Stewart is a Placement Assistant in the Houston office. Merredith has approximately fifteen years of recruiting experience in the staffing industry. Prior to joining Providus, Merredith was a Staffing Consultant with a privately held staffing firm. Merredith has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Tech University.
Julee Prentice Kalvaitis is the Director of Paralegal Placement and is responsible for candidate placement in law firms and corporate law departments. Prior to joining Providus, Julee was a trial paralegal for more than 18 years working with several of Houston’s top trial boutique firms, managing cases in the areas of labor and employment, energy, antitrust, intellectual property and commercial litigation. Julee received her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies and Paralegal Certificate from the Center for Advanced Legal Studies. She is also a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Paralegals & Legal Assistants (NALA). She is an active member with the State Bar of Texas, NALA, and the Houston Metropolitan Paralegal Association, where serves as Past President.
Ann L. Batcheller is a Director of Business Development and is responsible for marketing to law firms and corporate legal departments. Ann has worked in the legal industry for over 25 years and has extensive experience working with both large and boutique firms. Prior to joining Providus Ann spent 11 years working at LexisNexis in Business Development, ran a successful legal consulting business for 10 years and was a law librarian. Ann received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Southern California.
Jessica Maloney Cathey is a Director of Business Development and is responsible for marketing to law firms and corporate law departments. Prior to joining Providus, Jessica practiced law in both the public and private sectors. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and received a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law. Jessica is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and is an active member of the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association.
