What special billing can Providus provide for us?
Providus can customize your billing statement by matter number or reference number. We can send you paper or electronic statements or both.
What if I have a need that comes up during non-regular business hours?
Aside from the dedicated service team in each regional office, all Providus staff members use Blackberrys, making us accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to both our clients and candidates. When clients call with last minute needs or staffing changes (including nights, weekends and holidays), you are guaranteed not only an immediate response, but also immediate service.
What kind of experience do the contractors have?
Our database is comprised of candidates with varied backgrounds. We have entry-level candidates to senior level. We have former law firm partners and general counsels. We have legal secretaries and former big firm paralegals. Are you looking for a Harvard J.D., a Yale undergrad, or a Duke Ph.D? We’ve got them. But if we don’t have what you need, we’ll find them.
How do I register with Providus?
It's simple. Register with Providus and submit your resume via our website, http://eResume.ProvidusGroup.com. Once we receive your resume, our recruiting team will review it. If we have any placement opportunities for you, or require any additional information, we will contact you. Once you are registered with us, we will then attempt to match your experience, skills, and needs to a contract or permanent position and present it to you for your approval. We also ask that you keep us informed of any significant changes in your current career status.
Once registered, how do I control where Providus sends my resume?
We inform you of any potential opportunities, but we do not submit your resume without your permission. To make the right placement, we know that your interest in a particular assignment or position is paramount. It is also in your best interest, and ours, that we avoid any duplication in the process.
Does Providus only provide contract assignments?
No, Providus provides contract, contract to permanent, and permanent placements.
If I am on a contract assignment, does that prevent me from being a candidate for a permanent job?
No. If you are on a contract assignment through Providus, we can continue to search for and place you in a permanent position.
How do I get paid?
Providus pays its contractors weekly and offers the convenience of direct deposit.

How can I ensure a safe and healthy work environment for myself while on an assignment through Providus?
State and federal law, as well as Providus policy, make the safety and health of our contractors the first consideration in operating our business. Providus provides the Ergonomics Brochure and Health and Safety Manual to assist you and our clients in significantly reducing the risk of danger in the workplace and in reaching maximum productivity. In the event that an injury occurs, the Early Return to Work Program has been instituted to identify transitional positions within the organization to enable an injured employee to return to work.
