Contracts/Proposal Manager

Job Description:

Providus has an immediate need for a Contracts/Proposal Manager for our client, an multi-billion dollar, international manufacturer of electrical products and tools.  The Contracts/Proposal Manager reports to the Vice President of System Sales.  This position is located in Arlington, VA/Washington, D.C.

 

 

The Contracts/Proposal Manager is accountable for managing contracts for a wide variety of federal and other markets as necessary.  The position also interfaces extensively with both internal and external customers. Provide assistance training and guidance to internal users on executed contracts.

 

Essential Job Functions:

§Point of contact ensuring documentation adheres to government contract requirements and processes are followed

§Insure proper review and approval processes are followed and proposals have appropriate signatures

§Manage the process for submitting proposals online via GSA e-Buy

§Tracking and document control for federal programs, contracts and projects

§Assist in administration of subcontracting plan for Small Business Administration requirements

§Develop tools and education for compliance training

§Ensure proper documentation is maintained for government audit purposes

§Participate in developing internal statistical reporting on federal orders, proposals, sales, etc.

§Develop and refine master proposal content as required or assigned. 

§Manage larger proposal process for employer and the channel partner process

§Provide support in developing federal proposals as required

§Review and analyze awarded contracts for risk/reward assessment

§Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

§Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required

§Minimum of 5 years related contract and/or proposal management experience

§Required experience in federal government contract management, federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and proposal writing

§Experience creating and managing a company document control process

§Ability to clearly communicate, both written and orally, with all levels of staff and customers

§Intermediate to advanced level skills in Windows and Microsoft Office required

Litigation Support Analyst

Job Description:

Litigation Support Analyst

 

Our client, an international law firm is seeking a Litigation Support Analyst for their Washington, D.C. office.  The Litigation Support Analyst assists the Director and/or Regional Litigation Technology Manager in the provision of in-house support for the Litigation Department in the application of computerized tools and non-computerized procedures.  Performs hands-on technical work in databases and other litigation support applications with specific emphasis on the e-discovery process and technology. 

 

Job functions include but are not limited to: Assisting with the management of all phases of litigation, e-discovery and other litigation technology projects; Assisting with research, evaluation, recommendation and implementation of software products for the Litigation Department; Participates in departmental project teams and task forces designed to streamline workflow and/or resolve issues; Coordinates document production sets to opposing counsel.

 

Minimum job qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience;  2-3 years of litigation support or paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate environment; Working knowledge of litigation support applications (e.g. LiveNote, Concordance, IPRO). Proficient personal computer skills and knowledge of firm software including email, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, time and attendance, and organizational/project planning software applications; Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments, use initiative and judgment to accomplish results, work under pressure and complete job assignments in an accurate, timely and professional manner; Strong communications, interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, staff and a variety of external entities including clients and prospective clients of the Firm.
